Dryer vent cleaning
Why dryer vent cleaning is important?
When a dryer vent gets clogged , your laundry will take longer to dry. Then hot air builds inside your laundry room making it overly warm. Foul smell will begin to circulate inside the room.
Heavy lint build-ups pose a fire hazard if the vents aren't regularly cleaned. Blocked vents could also cause carbon monoxide trapped inside your home.
According to the National Fire Protection Agency, between 2010-2014, U.S. fire departments responded to an estimated 15,970 home fires involving clothes dryers or washing machines each year. These fires resulted in annual losses estimated at 13 deaths, 440 injuries, and $238 million in property damage.
The NFPA also states:
The leading factor contributing to the ignition of home fires involving clothes dryers was a failure to clean, accounting for one-third (33%) of dryer fires.
